I am a third-year Computer Science and Engineering student at the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, studying under the prestigious, full-ride COMPEX Scholarship awarded by the Embassy of India (selected from 9,000 national applicants).
My focus lies at the intersection of agentic AI systems, transactional data mining, and Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) research. During the summer of 2026, I worked as a Summer Research Intern (SURGE) at IIT Kanpur under Prof. Amar Kumar Behera, where I designed and built DesignAudit—a framework to audit and benchmark usability flaws in LLM-generated user interfaces.
Whether engineering robust async backend services in FastAPI, training Graph Neural Networks in PyTorch, or writing clean user interfaces, I prioritize product-grade code quality, solid architectural trade-offs, and speed. Currently looking for opportunities to ship impact as a Software Development Engineer (SDE).

- First authored DesignAudit, a novel benchmarking framework for evaluating LLM-produced user interfaces using 10 Nielsen Heuristics and 5 Gestalt Principles.
- Developed an automated annotation pipeline and benchmarked 42 model-created UI screenshots across 3 frontier LLMs, 3 prompting strategies, and 2 application domains, producing 630+ usability evaluations.
- Analyzed 600+ UIs to evaluate the impact of LLMs, prompting strategies, and application domains on AI-designed UI.

A benchmarking framework for evaluating LLM-generated UI.
Research Problem
Evaluating AI-generated user interfaces currently lacks a rigorous, automated, and heuristic-grounded evaluation benchmark. This makes it difficult to compare frontend models and prompt strategies objectively, resulting in interfaces with critical usability and accessibility flaws.
Methodology & Focus
Incorporated 10 Nielsen Heuristics and 5 Gestalt Principles (such as Proximity and Similarity) into an automated visual screenshotting evaluation pipeline. The framework analyzes UI outputs to generate structured usability profiles, enabling detailed diagnostics instead of single ranking scores.
